To Market, To Market

I am a cookbook whore. There, I said it. I have way too many and I have yet to make a recipe from at least half of them. But the heart wants what it wants, and so…..

Aren’t they gorgeous? Don’t they make you just want to spend the entire ninety plus degree weekend in front of a hot stove? No? Me neither. So let’s see if this will help.

The definition of Summer.

Are you feeling it yet? Or do you need a little bit more convincing? How about this then. Get up nice and early and grab breakfast at City Bakery before hitting the stalls. A still warm whole-wheat croissant and an icy coffee with a healthy shot of fresh cream should do the trick.

  1. ENVY. *sigh* My farmer’s market is pretty good, but nothing like that. *sigh* I am jealous.

  2. I’m in LOVE with that market stand! I just love markets with all their fresh produce! And SO MUCH of it.

Have something to say?
